Cambridge Street Community PS

School Council is a valuable home/school link that supports the learning environment of our students and your children.

The Council acts in an advisory capacity providing ideas and input to assist the principal and where appropriate, school board trustees in their decision making on educational issues.

School Council membership includes parents (elected by parents), the principal, one member of the teaching staff, one non-teaching staff representative and, if possible, an appointed community member.

Cambridge Street Community Public School receives tremendous support from the greater community at large. Along with contributions and donations from many individuals, we have been fortunate to have had the following support:

• The organizers of the annual Fabric Flea Market and Shoe Drive contribute all profits to the school.
  

• The Kiwanis Club of Ottawa has provided support though the annual Kiwanis Read-a-thon.

• Boys' and Girls' Club offers various activities for children ages 6-12.
